Bridging the Gap – Shaping Mobility Systems in the “Robotaxi” Age

Autonomous mobility is set to reshape urban transport systems by changing value chains, governance structures, and the balance of power between public and private actors. The presentation explores the opportunities and challenges of robotaxi services, highlights regulatory barriers within the German Passenger Transport Act (PBefG), and proposes a framework for integrating autonomous on-demand services into public transport systems.
